Njureel: an innovative solution to preserve women's health

Njureel services is a structure created in 2019 that offers E-Health solutions 100% oriented towards women.

The structure was created following the observation of the high mortality rate among women for lack of medical care and following a personal experience lived by Awa Ndiaye, CEO of Njureel (loss of a loved one for the same reasons).

Awa Ndiaye is a 25 year old woman with a degree in digital economy. She is the head of a Senegalese startup specializing in the development of e-health solutions to facilitate access to healthcare for women. Njureel offers Senegalese an innovative solution combining health and technology. An online medical consultation through a platform that will allow each woman to have a referral card that can be reused on all medical platforms in the country while reinforcing the confidentiality and speed of care.

This innovative solution allows women to have medical and psychological care along with legal guidance for those who are victims of violence.

Today, Njureel has a connected community of more than 1000 women who are followed by the structure. Faced with the high demand, Njureel is working on setting up a call center for remote consultation in addition to the online platform in order to reach the goal of 1 million women monitored.

Njureel is already working with public hospitals in Senegal, notably with the main hospital in Dakar. The platform generates a database that can be used for research and statistics in the health sector.

In addition, Njureel has also developed an education program on reproductive and sexual health that has impacted more than 1000 women and adolescents.
