Mme Marame Gueye SAMB
Administrative & Financial Director
Marame is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ACT Afrique Group with over 10 years of experience in Finance.
Prior to joining ACT Afrique, Marame worked for AMSA ASSURANCES, one of the top three insurance companies in Senegal, where she was CFO and member of the executive committee. Marame managed a team of more than 10 people including purchasing and logistics, accounting, taxation, treasury and management control. She joined AMSA Assurances as an internal auditor 5 years ago and has a thorough knowledge of internal control procedures and the provisions of the CIMA code.
Prior to that, she was an auditor for three years at PWC Luxembourg. She had to audit various private equity structures and investment funds in a multicultural environment.
She started her career in France as a management controller at Castorama, one of the main French retailers specialized in DIY.
§Marame also had an experience at MK FINANCE, a structure specialized in mergers and acquisitions.
She holds a Master’s degree from the Ecole Supérieur de Commerce de Montpellier in France, a Bachelor’s degree from Trobe University in Australia and a Master’s degree in tax law from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Senegal in collaboration with the General Directorate of Taxes and Domains.
She was a member of the Senegalese cohort of the 2021 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young Africans. She was a member of the Senegalese cohort of the 2021 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Learders, a program sponsored by the United States to promote leadership in Africa.
Marame is fluent in English and French.
